About Me

Born n bought up in Abu Dhabi. Habit and hobby of hoarding little things, tit-bits, waste stuffs, etc.I was obsessed with collecting shells, feathers, stamps, coins, bottle tops, rags, leaves, and what not.I used to involve much in paper crafts, origami, dry seed design works etc.Sometimes I wonder why should I cut n tamper with things? Why not collect thrown-aways, old n worn out stuffs, cracked n damaged materials and assemble them with a little creativity?I used to participate in expos, exhibitions, collage making, best out of waste programs in my schooldays n college days.

When i got married to a Dubai based professional, I too had dreams of taking up a job in my trade and join my husband. The whole world in the clutches of the pandemic and the gcc at the threshold of enormous challenges, I could see my hopes of getting a job falling apart. My job hunts were trapped within dead ends and I was desperate. When I came up a few glass bottles, I thought of just painting them with my daughter's colors n paints....Of course every place I reside will be filled with my sacks of tit-bits...my home down in Kerala, my hostel rooms, my in laws, the previous places that I stayed like Al Madinah, Abu Dhabi every where.
Hopefully I designed some bottles initially which really got nailed.I shared many pics of each piece of my newly found recreation....to my wonder my friends and family where all dumbstruck....a few people came up to ask me if I would sale them even.
Things turned upside down when my husband bought me a set of colors.....
I participated in online competitions n contests which won me laurels opening up new paths.Paint companies, advertising firms, online entrepreneurs started noticing n acknowledging.I saw prospects of a wonderful business of transforming waste into beautiful decors and artefacts thereby eliminating the concept of "waste".
Today am an emerging self entrepreneur. I am holding live workshops, online talk shows and demo shows in schools.

There is nothing called waste in this world. The beauty of anything lies in the eyes of the beholder. It's our attitude that depends.
